Japanese Kabob

Posted by Helen Harrell on

These times are crazy with quarantine 2020.  However, here at the Harrell Ranch things are still moving.  The cows still need to be fed, the horses worked, chores finished, and shipments to be made.  We've been enjoying serving our staff throughout these times.  Here is one recipe we did this week:

Japanese Kabob Recipe
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 pounds TriTails Top Sirloin cut in 1 in cubes
Pineapple chunks
Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, ginger, and garlic.  Marinate steak cubes for at least 2 hours.  Skew steak cubes and pineapple chunks alternatively (we like to add other vegetables too such as peppers and onions).  Broil in oven or charcoal grill.  Cook to desired doneness.
